Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to design and develop secure, scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to support trading systems, risk management tools, and client-facing applications
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
  • Integrate security best practices and compliance requirements into all development phases
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and methodologies within the team
  • Work with data analytics and machine learning components to enhance decision-making in investment banking operations
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation in a fast-paced financial technology setting
  • Monitor system performance and scalability, optimizing for high-volume transaction processing
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to drive efficiency in JP Morgan's global operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 2-4 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and secure coding practices
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for financial services roles
  • Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure

Preferred Qualifications
