Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models using Python to solve complex problems in financial services, such as fraud detection and predictive analytics
• Collaborate with agile teams to build secure, scalable technology products that meet regulatory requirements in the banking sector
• Integrate machine learning solutions into JP Morgan Chase's core platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Conduct data analysis and feature engineering on large-scale financial datasets to improve model accuracy
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimization to maintain code quality and security standards
• Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business goals
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, focusing on minimizing downtime in mission-critical systems
• Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends and contribute to innovation in JP Morgan's technology roadmap
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering within the team
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal JP Morgan policies in all AI developments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML development
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams in financial services
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to the banking industry
• Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable solutions in high-stakes environments
