Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models to enhance financial products such as predictive analytics for market trends and risk assessment
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate machine learning solutions into scalable, secure banking platforms
• Optimize algorithms for performance in high-volume transaction processing environments
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to security protocols, and maintain compliance with financial regulations
• Analyze large datasets from trading, lending, and customer interactions to derive actionable insights
• Prototype and iterate on AI-driven features to improve fraud detection and personalized client services
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices in AI/ML development within the financial sector
• Monitor and troubleshoot production ML systems to ensure reliability and uptime
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability to JP Morgan's business challenges
• Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge sharing across global teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on AI/ML technologies
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including risk management, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and compliance with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data processing in financial datasets using tools like Hadoop or Spark
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's tech stack, including cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
