Responsibilities include migrating legacy on-premises applications to the cloud, automating deployments through CI/CD pipelines, and proactively monitoring system health to minimize downtime in our 24/7 global operations. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on the Azure platform to support JP Morgan Chase's financial services infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and resilient systems for trading, risk management, and customer banking platforms
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud resources to maintain high availability and performance in production environments
• Integrate Azure services with on-premises systems to enable hybrid cloud solutions for global financial operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by implementing security best practices and audit trails in all cloud deployments
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on Azure best practices and financial domain knowledge
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, data processing, and application performance
• Contribute to innovation initiatives, such as migrating legacy financial applications to Azure for cost efficiency and agility
• Document technical designs, processes, and architectures to support knowledge sharing within the JP Morgan Chase engineering community

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on cloud platforms
• Proven expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Strong experience in building and deploying scalable applications using .NET, Java, or Python
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services for hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with machine learning integration on Azure, such as Azure Machine Learning
• Previous work in the financial services industry, particularly in banking or investment management
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Hands-on experience with data security and encryption in cloud environments
