Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial technology products
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver market-leading innovations in areas like trading platforms and risk management systems
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality
• Integrate security measures and compliance requirements into all development phases to protect sensitive financial data
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking services
• Participate in architectural discussions to optimize system performance and scalability for global financial operations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance JP Morgan's digital banking and payment solutions
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical implementations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on building scalable applications
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience working in agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions for high-availability systems
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking or capital markets
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, SOX, or PCI-DSS
