Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial technology products
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver market-leading innovations in areas like digital banking and risk management
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and implement best practices for maintainability
• Integrate security protocols and compliance requirements into software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Participate in architectural discussions to optimize system performance and scalability
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Leverage data analytics and machine learning to enhance financial product features
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to improve JP Morgan's tech stack

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on scalable systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement cloud-based solutions
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly in banking or payments
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
