Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial technology products
  • Collaborate with agile teams to deliver market-leading innovations in areas like digital banking and risk management
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Analyze complex financial requirements and translate them into robust technical architectures
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards in all development work
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in high-availability financial systems

  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to drive team efficiency and product excellence

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on scalable systems
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience working in agile methodologies and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement APIs for financial applications
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a regulated environment
