Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large-scale financial datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable technology solutions in an agile framework
• Implement data engineering best practices to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with financial regulations like GDPR and SOX
• Optimize data storage and retrieval systems to support real-time analytics for trading and risk management
• Integrate data from diverse sources including market feeds, transaction logs, and external APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues in production environments
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers on data engineering standards
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance JPMorgan Chase's data infrastructure
• Ensure all solutions adhere to JPMorgan's security protocols and scalability requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Strong understanding of database systems including SQL and NoSQL
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments

• Master's degree in a relevant field
