Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL-based database solutions to support JP Morgan Chase's financial applications
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that meet regulatory requirements in the financial sector
• Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing strategies for high-volume transaction processing
• Implement data integrity measures and ensure compliance with industry standards like Basel III and Dodd-Frank
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical banking systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for database development within the team
• Integrate database solutions with front-end applications and microservices architectures
• Monitor and analyze database metrics to proactively identify and mitigate risks in financial data handling

• Mentor junior engineers on PL/SQL best practices and financial technology challenges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on database technologies
• Proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, including performance tuning and optimization
