Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated workflows using Python and AWS to streamline JPMorgan Securities Europe (JPMSE) processes
• Build and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructures leveraging DevOps best practices
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of financial applications
• Integrate AI-driven tools to enhance automation and predictive analytics in trading and risk management systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions compliant with financial regulations
• Monitor and optimize AWS resources for cost-efficiency and performance in high-stakes financial operations
• Conduct code reviews and implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments to minimize downtime in critical systems
• Contribute to innovation initiatives by exploring emerging technologies for JPMorgan's digital transformation
• Document processes and mentor junior engineers on DevOps and cloud engineering practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on DevOps practices
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
• Experience in securing cloud infrastructures in a regulated financial environment
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience in AI/ML integration for process automation in financial services
• Previous work in the banking or fintech sector with knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Python Institute certifications
• Background in developing scalable solutions for high-volume financial transactions
