Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-friendly front-end interfaces for JPMorgan's Personal Investing platform using React.js and related technologies
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to deliver intuitive investment tools that align with client needs
• Implement responsive and accessible web applications ensuring seamless performance across devices for retail investors
• Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs to handle real-time financial data, such as stock quotes and portfolio analytics
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality, secure codebases compliant with JPMorgan's standards
• Optimize application performance and scalability to support high-volume trading and investment activities
• Stay updated on emerging front-end trends and contribute to innovation in digital investing experiences
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive iterative improvements
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in financial services, including data privacy and secure user authentication
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the JPM Personal Investing team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in front-end software development
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Angular
• Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and data security standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience in developing applications for the financial services or investment sector
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for front-end deployments
• Previous exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques
• Certifications in front-end development or related technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer)

Required Skills

• Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Proficiency with React.js or Angular for building dynamic UIs
• Strong CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS libraries
• Experience with state management tools like Redux or MobX
