Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality fullstack Java applications integrated with Big Data pipelines
• Collaborate with agile teams to build secure, scalable technology products for JP Morgan Chase's global markets
• Implement and optimize Big Data solutions using tools like Spark and Hadoop to process large-scale financial datasets
• Ensure application security and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and SOX
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain robust software performance
• Integrate frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular) with backend services for seamless user experiences
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to minimize downtime in high-stakes trading environments
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers on best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and fullstack technologies
• Proven experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in agile team environments
• Experience in designing secure and scalable applications for financial services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a regulated industry context
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data
