Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust QA automation frameworks for JP Morgan's FX front office applications
• Create and execute automated test scripts to validate trading algorithms, pricing engines, and order management systems
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into the software development lifecycle
• Identify and report defects, ensuring high-quality deliverables in a low-latency trading environment
• Perform regression testing and performance analysis on FX trading platforms to minimize market risks
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, including adoption of AI-driven testing tools
• Work closely with traders and stakeholders to understand FX market requirements and translate them into testable scenarios
• Ensure compliance with internal JP Morgan standards and financial regulations during QA processes
• Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices and FX-specific testing challenges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation engineering
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining QA automation frameworks for high-frequency trading or financial applications
• Strong understanding of foreign exchange (FX) markets and front office trading systems
• Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines in a financial services environment
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java for test automation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on risk management

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience with FX trading platforms like Murex or similar systems at a major bank
• Certification in QA automation tools (e.g., ISTQB or Selenium certification)
• Prior work at a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in FX trading (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd-Frank)
