Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications on Google Cloud Platform to support JP Morgan Chase's financial services platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP solutions into existing banking systems, ensuring seamless data flow and transaction processing
• Implement and optimize cloud-native architectures, including serverless computing and managed databases, to enhance performance and cost-efficiency
• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality software standards in compliance with financial regulations
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Google Cloud Build to accelerate development cycles
• Monitor and analyze application performance using GCP monitoring tools, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
• Contribute to innovation in fintech solutions, such as AI-driven risk assessment or real-time fraud detection on the cloud
• Ensure security best practices are followed, including encryption, access controls, and vulnerability assessments for sensitive financial data
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the JP Morgan Chase engineering community

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Go
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with regulatory compliance (e.g., FINRA, SEC)
• Certification in Google Cloud Professional (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Developer)
