Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions on Google Cloud Platform to support JP Morgan's banking and investment services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, and BigQuery into financial workflows
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency in handling transaction volumes
• Implement secure, compliant applications adhering to financial industry standards and JP Morgan's risk management protocols
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure robust software in production environments
• Contribute to innovation in areas like real-time data processing for trading platforms or fraud detection systems
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in agile ceremonies to drive project delivery
• Monitor and troubleshoot GCP-based systems to maintain uptime for critical financial operations
• Stay updated on emerging GCP technologies and apply them to enhance JP Morgan's digital banking capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with building and deploying scalable applications in a financial services environment
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and SOX
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams within a large-scale banking organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with machine learning or AI integrations on GCP in fintech applications
• Prior work at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
