Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions using GoLang to support JP Morgan's financial products
• Collaborate with agile teams to build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructures on AWS for high-availability applications
• Implement and optimize cloud-native technologies to ensure robust performance in trading and payment processing systems
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold security and reliability standards in a regulated financial environment
• Integrate APIs and services to enhance data processing for risk analysis and client-facing platforms
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, leveraging AWS tools to minimize downtime and ensure compliance
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for GoLang development and containerization
• Contribute to innovation in fintech solutions, focusing on scalability for global market demands
• Document technical designs and processes to support audit and regulatory requirements
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in JP Morgan's tech stack

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in GoLang for building scalable backend services
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
• Proven expertise in AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Experience working in agile methodologies within financial services or high-stakes environments
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards like GDPR and PCI-DSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience in developing trading platforms or risk management systems at a major financial institution
