Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver market-leading technology products that enhance client experiences in banking and investment services
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial systems
• Integrate security protocols and compliance measures into software development lifecycle to protect sensitive financial data
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing on emerging technologies
• Participate in architectural discussions to optimize system performance and scalability for global transaction processing
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Leverage cloud-native technologies to build resilient applications supporting JP Morgan's digital transformation initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on scalable systems
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
• Experience working in agile methodologies and cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions for high-availability applications
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Preferred Qualifications
