Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure IAM solutions using Java and AWS to support JP Morgan's global financial platforms
  • Collaborate with agile teams to deliver scalable technology products that meet regulatory and security standards in the financial services sector
  • Implement and optimize authentication and authorization mechanisms to protect sensitive client data and transactions
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, reliable software deployments
  • Integrate IAM systems with cloud-native AWS services to enhance scalability and performance for high-volume trading and banking applications
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, providing proactive solutions to minimize downtime in mission-critical financial systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
  • Proven experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM services
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., GDPR, SOX)
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
