Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust infrastructure architectures to support JP Morgan Chase's global financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to develop straightforward solutions for business challenges in trading, payments, and risk analysis
• Optimize system performance and scalability to handle high-volume financial transactions securely
• Integrate cloud-native services and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency in Mumbai-based teams
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in real-time, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
• Contribute to the evolution of infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure architecture
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in designing scalable infrastructure
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in agile methodologies and collaborative development environments
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to financial services (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in high-stakes production environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
