Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust infrastructure architectures to support JP Morgan Chase's core banking platforms and trading systems
• Collaborate with agile teams to develop straightforward solutions that solve complex business problems in risk assessment and transaction processing
• Optimize cloud-based infrastructures for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency in handling high-volume financial data
• Integrate security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations to protect sensitive client information
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid deployment of infrastructure changes in a fast-paced financial environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues impacting mission-critical applications like real-time fraud detection
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Conduct performance tuning and monitoring of systems to support 24/7 global financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure architecture
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in designing scalable infrastructure
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for orchestrating financial workloads
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools in an agile development environment
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to the financial services industry, such as PCI-DSS and GDPR
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for high-stakes banking applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in financial services, particularly in areas like payments processing or risk management systems
