Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust infrastructure components for the Global Banking Platform to support high-volume transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform scalability, reliability, and performance in a 24/7 financial environment
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery of technology products while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, minimizing downtime for critical banking services
• Optimize cloud resources and infrastructure costs without compromising security or performance
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform by incorporating emerging technologies like AI/ML for fraud detection
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices in software engineering
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan's engineering standards and participate in agile ceremonies
• Monitor system health and proactively identify areas for improvement in global banking workflows
• Support integration of third-party services and APIs to enhance platform interoperability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development
• Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable platforms in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools in a high-stakes banking context
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS relevant to global banking
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile teams within a multinational organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Experience with Java, Python, or Go in developing backend services for financial platforms
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems in capital markets
• Prior work at a major financial institution, ideally with exposure to global banking operations
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Kubernetes Administrator

Required Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
