Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust software architectures for 55ip's investment platform, ensuring integration with JP Morgan Chase's core banking systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable solutions that support high-volume financial transactions and data analytics
• Implement and maintain secure, compliant IT systems adhering to financial regulations and JP Morgan's risk management frameworks
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in software engineering within the IT Architecture Group
• Optimize system performance for real-time data processing in asset management and portfolio optimization tools
• Integrate emerging technologies like AI/ML for enhancing financial modeling and predictive analytics
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments, minimizing downtime for critical financial services
• Contribute to the evolution of 55ip's technology stack, aligning with JP Morgan Chase's global IT strategy
• Document architectural designs and ensure they meet enterprise standards for reliability and scalability
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to deliver iterative improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on enterprise architecture
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages used in financial systems
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in a regulated financial environment
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards like GDPR and SOX relevant to banking
• Proven track record of designing scalable, high-availability systems for financial applications
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams within a global financial institution

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with financial data processing, including real-time trading systems or risk management platforms
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF for enterprise architecture
