Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions using Java and modern frameworks to support JPMorgan Chase's financial products
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that meet regulatory and business requirements
• Implement machine learning models for applications in risk assessment, fraud detection, and market analysis
• Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices in software engineering, and optimize performance for high-volume financial transactions
• Integrate AI solutions with existing banking systems, ensuring data security and compliance with industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical roadmap
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and apply them to enhance JPMorgan's competitive edge in financial services
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and related frameworks
• Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in a production environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to develop secure, scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or fintech, particularly in trading systems or risk management
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's technology stack and internal tools
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional ML Engineer)
• Prior work on AI-driven applications for fraud detection or algorithmic trading

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java (JDK 8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Expertise in AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
