Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable fullstack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver market-leading technology products that support JP Morgan Chase's global financial services
• Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations in all software solutions
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in production environments
• Integrate applications with backend services, databases, and APIs to enhance trading, risk analysis, and client-facing platforms
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps for innovation in financial technology
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement
• Monitor and maintain application health using tools like Splunk or ELK stack for real-time insights
• Work on cloud-native solutions to support scalable infrastructure for high-volume financial transactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and fullstack technologies
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure applications in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical challenges in high-stakes, regulated industries like banking
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, with a focus on secure deployments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
