Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based backend services for financial applications
• Build intuitive React-based user interfaces for trading platforms and client portals
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions that meet regulatory standards
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure robust software quality
• Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high-volume financial transactions
• Integrate systems with JP Morgan's core banking infrastructure and third-party financial APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments with minimal downtime
• Contribute to innovation in fintech products, such as real-time analytics or blockchain integrations
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering within the team
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, SOX) in all development activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and modern frameworks
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including React.js and related libraries
• Experience working in agile environments with a focus on secure and scalable software delivery
• Strong understanding of financial services domain, including regulatory compliance and data security
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within a large enterprise setting
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a financial context
