Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based backend services and React frontend applications for JP Morgan Chase's financial products
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology solutions that support banking operations
• Implement and optimize microservices architectures to handle high-volume financial transactions
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to security best practices in the financial sector
• Integrate applications with JP Morgan's core banking systems and third-party financial APIs
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments to minimize downtime for critical services
• Contribute to innovation by prototyping new features for market-leading digital banking experiences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and React
• Proven experience in building scalable, secure applications in the financial services domain
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Experience with secure coding practices and compliance standards in banking
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
