Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications for financial data processing using Spark
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, high-performance technology products in AWS environments
• Implement and optimize big data solutions to support real-time financial analytics and reporting
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to security standards in the financial sector
• Integrate applications with JP Morgan Chase's internal systems for seamless data flow and compliance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments to minimize downtime for critical financial services
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing on best practices in cloud-native development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and secure coding practices
• Experience in financial services or high-stakes data environments
