Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for JPMorgan's Personal Investing platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and compliance officers to deliver innovative investment tools
• Implement secure coding practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations and protect client data
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in high-volume trading and investment environments
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance user experiences in personal investing applications
• Contribute to agile sprints, providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical architectures
• Monitor system health and implement monitoring tools for real-time investment data processing
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive innovation in JPMorgan's digital investing solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance standards
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile development environments
• UK work authorization and ability to obtain necessary security clearances

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
• Experience in developing applications for investment or wealth management platforms
• Familiarity with data security and privacy laws like GDPR
• Prior work in a global financial institution
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Oracle Java certifications
