Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support scalable applications in a secure financial environment
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments and ensure rapid, reliable releases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
• Monitor and optimize application performance using tools like Kubernetes metrics and logging systems
• Ensure compliance with JPMorgan Chase's security policies and financial regulations in all deployments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments to minimize downtime for critical banking systems
• Contribute to infrastructure as code initiatives using tools like Terraform or Helm
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for containerization and orchestration
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 availability of core technology platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering or DevOps roles
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance standards in financial services
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
