Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe-based applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products for financial services
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust software solutions
• Implement and optimize mainframe systems to support high-volume transaction processing in banking
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards
• Integrate mainframe applications with modern distributed systems and cloud services
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues to minimize downtime in critical financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and CICS
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
• Demonstrated ability to design secure and scalable software solutions
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and data security standards
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality code in production environments
