Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms
  • Collaborate with agile teams including product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver market-leading technology products
  • Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Analyze complex business requirements in the financial services domain and translate them into technical specifications
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for data security, risk management, and regulatory reporting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in high-stakes trading or banking systems
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews to maintain high engineering standards
  • Optimize system performance to handle large-scale financial transactions and real-time data processing
  • Participate in innovation initiatives to enhance JP Morgan Chase's digital banking and investment tools

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on building scalable applications
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++
  • Experience working in agile methodologies and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data privacy regulations in financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement solutions for high-availability systems
