Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Murex MXML for trading, risk, and post-trade systems
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that support JP Morgan Chase's global financial operations
• Implement and optimize Murex configurations to handle complex derivatives and market data processing
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure reliability and performance in high-stakes financial environments
• Integrate Murex systems with other JP Morgan platforms, including real-time data feeds and reporting tools
• Contribute to the evolution of trading platforms by incorporating feedback from traders and risk managers
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal security standards in all development work
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues in Murex-based applications to minimize downtime

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial systems
• Proficiency in Murex MXML for trading and risk management applications
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and secure software development practices
• Experience in designing scalable systems for high-volume financial transactions
• Knowledge of financial instruments, derivatives, and market data processing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
