Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure, scalable software solutions using Python and AWS services to support JP Morgan Chase's financial products
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver market-leading technology solutions that enhance client experiences in investment banking and asset management
• Implement and maintain cloud-based architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards in the financial sector
• Conduct code reviews, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments
• Integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle to protect sensitive financial data
• Contribute to the innovation of trading platforms, risk management systems, or payment processing tools using AWS infrastructure
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team
• Monitor and analyze system metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks in high-volume financial transactions
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to improve efficiency in JP Morgan's global operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
• Experience in secure coding practices and compliance with financial industry regulations such as GDPR and SOX
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, secure technology products in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in financial services or fintech industry
• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer)
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data processing in Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
• Prior experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a banking environment
