Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI systems using Python to proactively detect and mitigate financial risks for JP Morgan Chase and its customers
• Develop scalable software solutions that integrate AI agents for real-time threat monitoring in banking operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, risk analysts, and compliance experts to enhance risk safeguards
• Build and optimize data pipelines for processing large volumes of transaction data in a secure environment
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment of AI models to ensure reliability and compliance with financial regulations
• Monitor and improve AI agent performance, iterating based on emerging threats in the financial services landscape
• Contribute to innovation in AI-driven cybersecurity, leveraging JP Morgan's technology stack to protect against fraud and cyber risks
• Document technical solutions and mentor junior engineers on best practices in agentic AI development
• Stay abreast of industry trends in AI and financial risk management to recommend proactive enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on Python development
• Proven experience in developing AI/ML models, particularly in agentic AI systems for risk detection and mitigation
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations and risk management practices in banking
• Experience with data processing pipelines and large-scale data environments in a secure financial setting
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, working on fraud detection or cybersecurity projects
• Familiarity with JP Morgan's internal tools and platforms for AI deployment
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI workloads
