Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for market-leading financial technology products, ensuring security and scalability
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate quality assurance into the software development lifecycle, focusing on high-stakes banking applications
• Automate testing processes using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or custom frameworks to improve efficiency in fast-paced environments
• Identify, document, and track defects in complex systems, prioritizing based on financial risk and regulatory compliance
• Perform security testing and vulnerability assessments to safeguard sensitive client data in line with JP Morgan's standards
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices for quality in financial software delivery
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to enhance product reliability for global trading platforms
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards for scalable, secure solutions
• Support production deployments by conducting post-release testing and monitoring system performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, and automation in a financial services or technology environment
• Proficiency in developing and executing test plans for complex, scalable applications
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks in a secure, regulated industry
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance best practices
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with strict compliance to security standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the banking or financial services sector, particularly with trading or risk management systems
• Certification in QA testing (e.g., ISTQB) or automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure in a financial context
