Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using React for frontend and Java for backend in agile sprints
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build secure, scalable technology products for JP Morgan Chase's financial services
• Implement and maintain codebases that adhere to industry standards for security, performance, and reliability in banking applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure robust application functionality
• Integrate APIs and microservices to support complex financial workflows, such as payments processing or market data analysis
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools within the team
• Monitor and optimize application performance to handle high-volume transactions in a 24/7 financial environment
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to enhance JP Morgan's digital banking platforms
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including data privacy and cybersecurity standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Java and React
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams
• Experience in designing secure and scalable applications in the financial services domain
• Proficiency in building and maintaining web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with financial systems, such as trading platforms or risk management tools
