Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable front-end applications using React.js for JP Morgan Chase's financial technology products
• Collaborate with agile teams, including backend engineers, designers, and product managers, to deliver secure and user-centric solutions
• Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces that meet financial industry standards for performance and security
• Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and optimize applications for speed and reliability
• Integrate front-end components with backend APIs, handling data visualization for market data and client portfolios
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team velocity
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for front-end architecture
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into JP Morgan's digital banking and investment platforms
• Ensure all developed features support secure data handling and protect against cyber threats in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development
• Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience building scalable, secure web applications in a financial services environment
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with financial regulations such as GDPR and SOX
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
