Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications in the financial domain
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring high-quality software releases
• Identify and report defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes in a banking environment
• Create and execute test plans for complex financial systems, including risk management and transaction processing modules
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for test automation and quality assurance
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing input on testability of user stories and acceptance criteria
• Conduct performance and security testing to ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's standards
• Analyze test results and metrics to drive continuous improvement in software quality
• Work with cross-functional teams to automate regression testing for core banking applications
• Stay updated on emerging testing tools and methodologies relevant to fintech innovations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing and automation
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with financial services or banking systems
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
