Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery in JP Morgan's financial platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate test automation into the software development lifecycle, focusing on scalability and security
• Identify and implement improvements to testing processes to support secure, market-leading technology products
• Conduct performance, regression, and security testing for applications handling sensitive financial data
• Work closely with developers and product owners to define test strategies that align with business objectives in the financial services sector
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated test environments, ensuring minimal downtime for critical banking systems
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices for test automation in a regulated industry
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to JP Morgan's engineering standards and compliance requirements
• Monitor and report on test coverage and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into testing strategies for innovative financial solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on test automation
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for financial applications
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of security best practices in financial services, including compliance with regulations like GDPR and PCI-DSS
