Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for JP Morgan Chase's digital banking platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences
• Integrate AI and machine learning models into UI components to enhance features like personalized financial advice and risk assessment
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions for client-facing applications
• Optimize UI performance and accessibility to meet WCAG standards and support diverse global users
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality, secure codebases compliant with financial regulations
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and UI trends to innovate within the financial services sector
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable systems that handle high-volume transaction data
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the team
• Ensure all developments adhere to JP Morgan's security protocols and data privacy standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on UI development and AI integration
• Proven track record of building scalable web applications in a financial services environment
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in banking, such as GDPR and FCA requirements
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative development in cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence
• Experience with machine learning frameworks in financial applications, such as fraud detection
• Prior work at a major financial institution or fintech company
