Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for JP Morgan Chase's digital banking and trading platforms
• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that meet regulatory standards
• Implement responsive and accessible UI components using modern front-end technologies
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for security and performance in financial applications
• Integrate front-end solutions with back-end services, including APIs for real-time market data
• Troubleshoot and optimize UI performance to handle high-volume transactions in a 24/7 financial environment
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to continuously improve development processes
• Mentor junior engineers on UI development standards specific to the financial services industry
• Stay updated on emerging UI trends and technologies to enhance user experience in Chase's mobile and web products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on UI development
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices in the financial services sector
• Experience working in agile environments with version control systems like Git
• Ability to design scalable UI solutions for high-traffic financial applications
• Demonstrated experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with banking or trading platforms
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and state management libraries like Redux
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure in a regulated environment
