Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications for JP Morgan Chase's financial platforms, focusing on intuitive user interfaces and robust backend services
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to deliver secure, scalable technology products that support global banking and investment services
• Implement and optimize UI components using modern frameworks to enhance user experience in high-stakes financial environments
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory standards like GDPR and SOX
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality, performant codebases
• Contribute to the evolution of market-leading products by incorporating feedback from stakeholders in wealth management and corporate banking
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance in production, leveraging tools to ensure reliability for 24/7 financial operations
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and apply them to innovate within JP Morgan's digital transformation initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software engineering within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on fullstack development
• Proficiency in modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong experience with backend technologies including Java, Node.js, or Python
• Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments and deliver scalable solutions
• Experience with secure coding practices in a financial services context
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with trading or banking systems
