Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for payments technology applications to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define test strategies and automate regression testing in agile sprints
• Execute and analyze automated tests in CI/CD pipelines, identifying defects and performance issues in real-time payment systems
• Integrate automation frameworks with tools like Selenium and Jenkins to support scalable testing for Commercial & Investment Bank platforms
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and reliability in financial transaction processing
• Troubleshoot complex issues in test environments, simulating banking scenarios to validate system robustness
• Document test cases, results, and automation processes to comply with JPMorgan Chase's quality and audit standards
• Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation testing within the financial services domain
• Monitor and report on test metrics to drive continuous improvement in software delivery for payments technology

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance within financial services or technology sectors
• Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber for test scripting and execution
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of payments technology, including SWIFT, ISO 20022, or real-time payment systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced banking environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB or Certified Selenium Tester)
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured in financial applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for test environments
