Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement low-latency features for the core banking application, ensuring seamless integration with existing JP Morgan systems
• Analyze business requirements from stakeholders in retail and commercial banking to translate them into technical specifications
• Conduct performance testing and optimization to achieve sub-millisecond response times in transaction processing
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain 99.99% uptime in a 24/7 financial operations environment
• Work with compliance and risk teams to ensure the application adheres to regulatory standards and internal security protocols
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives, to drive timely delivery of application enhancements
• Document technical architectures, APIs, and workflows to support knowledge transfer and scalability
• Partner with global teams to roll out the application across JP Morgan's international banking operations
• Identify opportunities for innovation, such as AI-driven analytics, to enhance core banking efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or application support within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in delivering low-latency applications, particularly in core banking or trading systems
• Strong understanding of core banking architectures, including real-time transaction processing and data integration
