Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers focused on developing and maintaining scalable data platforms for JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Drive innovation in data solutions, including real-time analytics and machine learning applications for risk management and trading
• Serve as the primary decision-maker for technical architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and compliance officers, to deliver high-impact solutions
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines handling petabyte-scale financial datasets
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Manage project roadmaps, budgets, and resources to meet strategic goals in a fast-paced financial environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data platforms and big data technologies
• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in the financial services industry, including experience at a senior leadership level
• Deep expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, and cloud-based data solutions in a regulated environment
• Strong understanding of financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX, and data privacy standards
• Experience driving innovation in data-driven decision-making within large-scale financial institutions
