Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust cybersecurity architectures for AI systems supporting Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) platforms at JP Morgan Chase
• Lead the identification and mitigation of AI-specific security risks, including adversarial machine learning threats and data privacy issues in financial transactions
• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to embed security controls throughout the AI lifecycle, from model development to deployment in production banking environments
• Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and frameworks tailored to AI technologies within the financial services industry
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for AI-driven applications, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal JP Morgan policies
• Mentor junior architects and engineers on best practices for secure AI architecture in a high-stakes banking context
• Drive innovation in AI cybersecurity by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into CCB's risk management strategies
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including compliance, legal, and business units, to align AI security with business objectives
• Oversee the response to AI-related security incidents, providing architectural recommendations to prevent recurrence
• Contribute to JP Morgan's broader cybersecurity strategy by sharing insights on AI threats specific to global financial operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML systems
• Proven track record in designing secure architectures for financial services environments, including compliance with regulations like GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS
• Deep expertise in AI security threats, such as adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model inversion in banking applications
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale enterprise settings, particularly within financial institutions
• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration with AI platforms
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC in AI security

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's internal security frameworks or similar global banking environments
• Background in securing AI-driven fraud detection and risk management systems
• Familiarity with emerging AI standards from NIST or ISO for financial sector applications
• Prior leadership in AI cybersecurity projects involving regulatory audits
