Key Responsibilities

• Drive the target state architecture across multiple domains including cloud, data, and application architecture to deliver significant business impact at JP Morgan Chase
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to define and implement strategic cloud initiatives on AWS
• Lead the design of secure, scalable, and resilient AWS-based solutions compliant with financial regulations
• Mentor and guide junior architects and development teams in adopting cloud best practices
• Evaluate emerging AWS technologies and assess their applicability to JP Morgan's financial services platforms
• Oversee architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and risk management policies
• Facilitate workshops and provide thought leadership on cloud transformation strategies
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining high performance and availability
• Integrate AWS solutions with on-premises systems to support hybrid cloud environments in banking operations
• Contribute to innovation in areas like AI/ML on AWS to enhance fraud detection and customer analytics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focused on cloud architecture and AWS
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions in a financial services environment
• Deep expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial services (e.g., GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS)
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification
• Experience in fintech or banking sector with knowledge of core banking systems
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Terraform
• Prior experience in migrating legacy systems to cloud environments
• Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

Required Skills

• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and services
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
