Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for AI/ML applications and platforms, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise security standards
• Identify and mitigate security risks in AI/ML models, including threats like model theft, bias exploitation, and supply chain vulnerabilities in financial workflows
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineering teams to integrate security controls from design through deployment, adhering to regulatory requirements in the banking sector
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments specific to AI/ML systems, providing recommendations to enhance resilience against cyber threats
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices for AI/ML across JP Morgan Chase's global operations
• Partner with compliance and risk management teams to ensure AI/ML solutions meet financial industry regulations and internal governance
• Mentor junior architects and engineers on secure AI/ML practices, fostering a culture of security awareness in the technology organization
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools for securing AI/ML environments, such as federated learning or secure multi-party computation
• Drive innovation in cybersecurity for AI/ML by participating in industry forums and contributing to JP Morgan Chase's thought leadership in fintech security
• Monitor and respond to evolving AI/ML security threats, updating architectures to protect sensitive customer data and financial transactions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML systems
• Proven track record in designing secure architectures for financial services applications, including compliance with regulations like GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS
• Deep expertise in AI/ML security threats, including adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and model inversion
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP in a secure enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS controls applied to AI/ML
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Cybersecurity, AI, or Machine Learning
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with large-scale banking platforms
• Prior leadership in cross-functional teams developing AI/ML solutions at a Fortune 500 company
• Knowledge of emerging AI security standards from organizations like OWASP or MITRE
