Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for software applications and platforms, ensuring robust protection of sensitive financial data
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle at JP Morgan Chase
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems, prioritizing defenses against financial cyber threats like ransomware and insider risks
• Drive the adoption of advanced security technologies, such as zero-trust models and AI-driven threat detection, across Chase's global infrastructure
• Provide expert guidance on regulatory compliance, including GDPR, SOX, and FFIEC standards, to safeguard banking operations
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of security awareness in a fast-paced financial services environment
• Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and vendors that align with JP Morgan's enterprise risk management framework
• Monitor and respond to evolving cybersecurity landscapes, proactively addressing vulnerabilities in trading, lending, and customer-facing platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in a lead or senior role within financial services
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure architectures for large-scale software applications and platforms in a regulated environment
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS, with experience ensuring compliance in banking operations
• Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies tailored to financial data protection and fraud prevention
• Strong understanding of cloud security architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments common in global financial institutions
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver cybersecurity solutions that align with business objectives in high-stakes financial settings

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification
