Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cybersecurity architectures for software applications and platforms, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan Chase's enterprise security standards
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle across financial services products
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing platforms, identifying vulnerabilities in high-stakes banking environments
• Drive the adoption of secure coding practices, encryption standards, and access management to protect sensitive customer data and transactions
• Architect solutions for cloud-native and hybrid environments, focusing on scalability and resilience against cyber threats in the financial sector
• Mentor junior architects and engineers on cybersecurity best practices, fostering a culture of security awareness within JP Morgan Chase teams
• Evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies to enhance platform defenses, such as AI-driven threat detection for fraud prevention
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including GDPR, SOX, and FFIEC guidelines for U.S. financial institutions
• Partner with global stakeholders to address cybersecurity challenges in international banking operations
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and governance processes to support audit and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with at least 5 years in financial services or regulated industries
• Proven track record of designing and implementing secure architectures for enterprise software applications and platforms
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS compliance requirements
• Experience with cloud security architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly in hybrid environments
• Strong understanding of threat modeling, risk assessment, and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity architecture for banking and financial platforms at a large-scale institution
